Kevin the Koala was having a very confusing morning. Instead of smelling dusty eucalyptus leaves, he smelled hot dogs and car horns! He had accidentally landed in the middle of a bustling park in New York City. He was quite bewildered until he spotted a magnificent, salty, gigantic pretzel lying on a picnic blanket.

Kevin grabbed the pretzel, hugging its warm, twisted shape tight to his chest. 'Mine, all mine!' he whispered, climbing halfway up a sturdy oak tree. A speedy grey squirrel, named Shelly, chittered hello from the grass below. Kevin frowned, turning his back. He didn't want to share his majestic, salty treasure with a single soul.

Kevin tried to nibble the entire pretzel, but it was far too big and too crunchy. Pretzel dust stuck to his nose, and the salt made him incredibly thirsty. Eating it all by himself felt surprisingly lonely. Shelly the squirrel sat nearby, sadly cracking a tiny nut. Kevin realized he didn't even know how to finish this enormous snack alone.

"Wait!" Kevin finally called out. He carefully broke off a smaller, perfect loop and tossed it down to Shelly. Shelly gave a delighted squeak! As they munched together, the pretzel suddenly tasted ten times more scrumptious. Kevin giggled, realizing that the very best things in life, even gigantic New York pretzels, are always better when shared.
